| Roy F. Droll Jr.
has always had a large interest in automobiles. In 1983 he decided to
open a small used car lot with the help of his father as a part time
hobby. The lot contained only four or five vehicles and was located at
their home in Pekin. They Called it D&D Motors. This small lot with its hand picked, inspected and well-maintained vehicles began attracting local residents. As time passed, Roy realized his customers were coming back bringing their families and friends with the request that he carry a larger inventory. In 1987, he moved to his present location on Route 36 in Barton where his inventory continued to expand leading him to build a garage with a full time mechanic and licensed state inspection facility. In 1995, D&D Motors opened a second location on Route 220 in Bel Air where Roy continues to expand his inventory of the same high quality vehicles. D&D Motors offers an inventory of more than 150 vehicles that include many styles of Cars, Trucks, SUV, and Vans. The company also has special financing available that makes it easy for anyone to buy a vehicle. In 1998, D&D Motors celebrated its 15th anniversary with a new office in the Barton location that added more space and a more comfortable atmosphere. |
